World Cerebral Palsy Day is celebrated today, Monday, October 6th.
 
This date intends to reveal some prejudices related to cerebral palsy and to make society aware of the importance of respect and inclusion of these people, in order to improve their quality of life and in accordance with the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities .
